Stephanie has experienced the full spectrum of working with CCL Group since starting in 2006. Entering at the support level coming out of an MBA program, Stephanie says she would have taken whatever was available at the time, even if it meant doing nothing but coffee runs all day long! “I knew CCL Group was where I wanted to be,” she says about her early days.
After moving into Colour and working for clients like Nova Scotia Tourism, Parks Canada and Aliant, Stephanie eventually took a position on the Blue Ocean Contact Centers management team. “The culture of CCL Group companies can be a little different, but our core goals are the same: to get closer to our clients customers and create a superior experience for them that gives our clients a competitive advantage.”
As Marketing Manager for Blue Ocean, Stephanie is responsible for all activities related to the development and maintenance of the Blue Ocean brand. This involves all company advertising on both the web and in print, public relations, sponsorship activities, preparing new business proposals and maintaining the company website. She’s also usually elbow deep in the company’s corporate philanthropy initiatives including programs for the United Way, the Canadian Cancer Society, Sport Nova Scotia, and the WEE Society.
A proud native of Newfoundland, Stephanie would never want her girly appearance to deflect from her true self who is someone that loves video games, wrestling, and Japanimation movies, but her true passion lies in marketing. “People tell me all the time that they would love to have my job,” she says. “I tell them they’re right!” |
